Refund & Cancellation Policy

The short version: you can cancel whenever you like, you keep everything you paid for until the end of the period you already paid for, and cancelling never deletes your goals.

The terms

These are the cancellation and refund terms from our Terms of Service, section 7(e). That document is the binding one and carries its own effective date; this page explains what the terms mean in practice.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of current billing period
  • No prorated refunds for partial billing periods

How to cancel

Go to Settings → Billing and choose Manage subscription. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel, change your payment method, and download past invoices.

You do not need to contact us, and there is no retention flow to sit through.

Cancelling is reversible. Once it is scheduled, your billing page shows the date your plan ends instead of the date it renews, and you can turn the cancellation off any time before that date.

What happens when your plan ends

You keep every paid feature until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your workspace moves to the free plan.

Your data is not deleted. Your goals are not affected at all — the limit on active goals is the same on every plan, so moving down cannot put you over it. Where a lower plan does reduce a limit you are already over, such as file storage or saved links, the excess becomes read-only rather than being removed: you keep everything and can still read it, you just cannot add more until you are back under.

If you want your data removed rather than kept, that is a separate request and we honour it — see Settings → Privacy for self-serve export and deletion.

Refunds

Because cancelling already lets you use the rest of the period you paid for, we do not refund or prorate a part-used period when a subscription ends.

Switching plans is different from cancelling. If you change plan part-way through a period, that change lands immediately and is prorated — you are credited or charged the difference for the remainder of the period. Only ending a subscription waits for the period to run out.

If something went wrong — you were charged after cancelling, you were billed for the wrong workspace, or the service was not usable — that is not a policy question, it is a mistake, and we will fix it. Get in touch through Support.

Free trials

We do not currently offer a free trial of a paid plan.

Instead there is a free plan you can use for as long as you like, with no card required — see Pricing for what it includes.

Credit top-ups

Credit top-ups are one-time purchases, not part of your subscription. The credits they add never expire, and cancelling your plan does not remove them.

If a top-up is refunded or charged back, the credits it added are removed from your balance. If you had already spent them, your balance can go negative, and you would need to top up again before running more AI work.

Questions

Ask us before you buy rather than after — we would much rather answer a billing question than process a refund. Contact support, or read the full Terms of Service.
